Tevez may stay! (#794) on 04-06-2011 at 11:25:41
Madrid, though, will have to make a huge offer to tempt City to part with a player who has been the main man in their transformation to a Champions League side, particularly as Tevez still has three years to run on his contract at Eastlands.
But Tevez?s agent, Kia Joorabchian, insists the striker will put his family first when he makes a decision on his future.
?It?s difficult to talk about offers,? he said. ?Carlos is a big player who will attract big clubs. But he personally has had a very good season at City. He?s happy with the current situation at City.

?He?s sorted out his problems with the directors at City, that was sorted back in December.
?I think it all boils down to his family. If they feel comfortable about moving to Manchester then there?s every chance he will stay at Manchester.
?He was one of first to join this project. He had ambitions to get City to the Champions League and win to win a trophy. He has helped them do that.?

Ousmane Dabo has warned Carlos Tevez he will not succeed in a battle of wills with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
Tevez had his hopes of a quick exit from the Eastlands outfit dashed when City rejected a £40million bid from Brazilian side Corinthians.
And Dabo, the one-time City midfielder who was signed for Lazio by Mancini in 2003, feels Tevez has also underestimated his old boss' fierce defiant streak.
"Mancini won't be bullied by anyone, that is for sure," said Dabo. "He will handle the situation very well.
"If he wants Tevez to go, he will let him go. If he wants him to stay, he won't let him leave."

Here we go again.
Corinthians have denied that they have had a bid for Carlos Tevez accepted by Manchester City, despite Roberto Mancini claiming a deal was already in place.
Mancini said the Argentine striker was ready to discuss personal terms with the Brazilian club but they now deny any such agreement has been reached, and claim City are trying to change the terms of the proposed deal.
