BackManchester City's coach, Roberto Mancini, praised Adam Johnson's work rate in the win over Fulham, having previously questioned the winger's commitment. Johnson won the penalty from which City opened the scoring before his cross was turned into his own net by defender Chris Baird in a 3-0 victory.
Also Fulham's manager Martin Jol had something to say about him: "I was surprised at the penalty but, if you look at it again, maybe Johnson did well. I had a few players in the past who did that. We all tried it when we were younger".
In Mancini's opinion "he took his chance very well. He can become even better, but he worked and had a very good game".
The Italian manager add ""Sometimes he thinks, 'OK, in this game I scored one goal, I did an assist, that is enough'"
DID YOU KNOW?
- Adam Johnson has lost only once in nine appearances for England. He has scored two international goals at senior level.
We hope this great young player we'll go on improving.

IIIIoooIIII I'm sorry, but for me it doesn't really matter that much the age of a player, either he shows his quality when he's a kid or there's no way he can become a star...
