Eto'o wanted by City as well

Manchester City have become the latest team to get involved in the transfer tussle between Arsenal and Chelsea for Inter Milan’s Samuel Eto’o who recently claimed he would now like to move to the Premier League.

Although the Inter Milan president has suggested that the player is not for sale and thus will not be going anywhere there remains enough interest in the player for the San Siro side to orchestrate a bidding war. Although Arsenal may not be prepared to enter such a contest they are apparently a side that has long been admired by the Cameroonian striker and although Manchester City and Chelsea would be in a position to offer the largest wage packet, the North London side still remain optimistic on pushing a deal through.

The experienced forward has already won the Champions League twice, with Barcelona and Inter Milan and whichever Premiership team should snap him up will have more than their fair share of goals for the 30 year old too.
