Hull City boss Phil Brown hopes to sign Manchester City striker Benjani on loan in January, but only if the Eastlands club agree to pay half of the Zimbabwe star's £50,000-a-week wages.
The Hull boss swooped for the Zimbabwe hitman, 31, last summer but now wants to get him on loan if City will agree to pay half his £50,000-a-week wages.
Benjani has made only 21 City appearances since a £4million move from Portsmouth in February 2008
